Attached is February Schedule – SO sorry it is so late but wanted to get this done as I fly out tomorrow to get down and get registration squared away and prepare for everyone to arrive in Orlando.

I know somehow several people know and it has been discussed with several – but we had been working with a competition company to compete in Lexington, KY on March 15. Super excited to say after a few changes and education – they have created a correct recreational open scoring guide (they have had this division – just behind with the new format) and we are in! We actually competed with this brand the one season we did all-star and it was a ton of fun.

From the website:
“More details will come as far as times – but I’ve also requested a time that does not require an over night stay before or after. The competition is 3/15 at LCA (Lexington Christian Academy)
It is CHEER ELITE company – BEST OF THE BEST National Championships. All teams participating in this competition receive a trophy, regardless of score and number of teams in their division. Other awards that will be given are Grand Champion, Ultimate Champion, Specialty Awards and TONS OF MEDALS, TROPHIES AND BANNERS. We will also be giving out RINGS to the Grand Champion and Ultimate Champion winners!”

Again – more details to come! I have no further details than what I’ve given you for specifics.

This will give them something to look forward to and work toward – but I will be having a meeting this weekend and get a definite on Summit and our demands being met. This has turned into something way larger than you all truly can understand and not just about a bid or this team – but the overall failure of the open recreational division as a whole that uncovered some super troubling concerns about the future. Our girls have kind of ripped things wide open and needless to say, I’ve met a few new friends with our exact same story from this year. It is beyond wild. But – that is a story for another day and THIS gives them something super exciting to plan and work for and will hopefully kick those upgrades in higher gear!

Beyond still fighting for the girls – I have immediate back up plan options to discuss and to work this out for these kids has been a team effort. Kala has also been reaching out and communicating with just about anyone that will listen to us. I’ve battled since the Monday after Bluegrass. Adam was heavily involved in getting the second round of communication in motion. Candy has been trying to help – you name it, this has been a team effort and we’re still not done. Just trust – as soon as we know you will know and we know that cannot continue to be given much more time.
